According to the latest news from National Dailies published on November 24th, 2020 NTA is considering conducting the First Phase of JEE Main Exam 2021, in February End or March First Week. The Registration process might commence this December or January and you should start your final leg of preparation and revision from now.

Joint Entrance Examination - Main or commonly known as JEE Main is a national level entrance exam conducted by the NTA to offer admission to BE/BTech, BPlan and BArch courses at the IIITs (Indian Institute of Information Technology), NITs (National Institute of Technology) and other Centrally Funded Technical Institutions (CFTIs) across the country.

As per latest news reports, JEE Main exam date 2021 can be postponed to February and May, instead of January and April. Release of application form has been delayed. Also syllabus may be reduced. However there is no official notice from NTA yet on this. As per the IIT Delhi director Ramgopal Rao, students can expect a slight delay in the exam dates of JEE Main January 2021. The date sheet for JEE Mains 2021:

• With JEE Main 2020 April session getting postponed thrice, aspirants have doubts on the exam dates for JEE Main 2021 January session.
• JEE Main 2020 April session has been concluded from September 1 – 6, 2020.
• As per NTA Director General Vineet Joshi, they are planning to hold the January session for JEE Main 2021 on time.
• Planning another exam right after september will take time as shared by IIT Delhi Director Prof. Ramgopal Rao. He further added that the exam dates can be delayed by a month.
• Also, if board examinations are postponed from March and the schools don’t open in time, than the exam dates can be impacted as well.
