If the same is related to OBC recruitment, then there is no option to change the candidate category. Once you are selected , you need to produce the OBC certificate from competent authority to avail the benefits. If you are having sufficient cut off to meet general candidate category they might consider for you, anyway you could request to the panel broad for the same.
