NIT admission depends on home state quota/ Other state quota and category also with JEE Main rank, The cutoff varies every year so it is tough to tell you the exact. But try to get more than 220 to get into top NITs. You can also check previous year JEE Main cutoff with the given below link.

The cut off scores for nit varies each year depending upon on the number of candidates who had wrote the exam and numer of scores 

In 2018 for general category it is about 80

And for obc it is 50

For St SC it is about 35

The marks are vary year to year. The minimum cutoff list for all categories(2017) to get admission in NIT:

For general category-  the minimum qualifying marks are 81.

For obc-NCL category-  the minimum qualifying marks are 45.

For sc category- the minimum qualifying marks are 32.

For st category -  the minimum qualifying marks are 27.
