Offcourse Allen study material is good to prepare for JEE Mains. It is in details about each topic and concepts,  you just prepare well conceptually. Also give tests time to time topicwise and subjectwise respectively. Once you completed whole course go for mock test and analyse it properly where you are going down.

Yes it is worth to buy Allen study material but one thing you should remember that you need to study hard and practice regularly.Then only you will have the chance to score around 280 .
Otherwise many students purchase it and they study very lightly and they just hope to get good marks but this will not happen.
So, study hard and practice regularly using the study material.
