It is based on the ongoing pandemic. If it gone less there is a possibility to start colleges by following the steps to distancing. If not the UGC may ask to conduct classes over online.

Most of the colleges are going online for this semester(august-december). If the covid condition improves till next semester(january-may) then colleges may go offline again otherwise the online thing will continue till the condition improves.

Considering the current pandemic  situations most of the colleges opt Online mode classes considering the safety of students and Faculty.Until the conditions are in control the classes will be conducted in online mode.
