Karnataka has always been the hub of higher education. Many people turn towards comedk for their Engineering degrees. Though I would not rate the talent pool you will be facing as one of the best but you do get the silicon valley of India within your reach i.e Bengaluru. This ensures maximum exposure of industry to CS and IT graduates in the colleges of Karnataka. The proximity to Bengaluru makes comedk institutes well suited for CS and IT the courses, very much in demand in the software industry booming in Bengaluru. There are many historic colleges like RVCE, Ramaiah, Dayanand Sagar, Don Bosco, etc which provide a strong alumni network. Thus for CS and IT, the colleges under comedk are very much worth it but just don't think of high package jobs from these colleges. Possible but rare.
