I am not sure about what type of notes you are following. The truth is there is actually no end for GATE preparation. You need to solve all kind of possible questions in every concept you study. Even if you feel you are strong with all concepts I suggest to practice all past GATE Questions. Solving such questions will rate your ability towards top 10.
