Hello,

yes IIT and NIT graduates get high paid job offers even as freshers. why ? because IIT and NIT are reputed institutes for a very long time and they have done and doing work one real time projects which are funded by them or government. Market wants work and work is done by skill and knowledge.

So IIT and NIT graduates are experienced on that part. it is also possible for any university or government college or private institute graduate only when they start learning coding from1st year. it is not one day work.

what are required to get best IT job :-

1. clear Computer science basics( 3rd sem to 8th sem)

2. programming skill like c++ or java or python

3. good in dealing with data structure like stack , queue , link list, tree, graph

4. algorithm:- in this one, you have to learn all the algos there in the book or syllabus and solve coding problems using  them. in short, you have to make algorithm i.e. design of algorithm (self made)

along with them other languages like shell scripting, web development, PL/SQL, DBMS which needs to be there too in your skill set.

If you excel them then you can get a dream job even at google or microsoft.

getting 1lakh salary per month is even hard for a IIT graduate student. it is a very rare case. so don't think for it as it is only achieved with experience and performance.

even you have BE from mechanical engineering, you can study, practice and learn them. when you reach to excel position you can apply for job options and get your best job option.

Hope it helps!

Hello Aspirant,

Unfortunately you cannot get that much paid without any experience of coding because nowadays IT companies are seeking for the employees having good problem solving approach in different softwares and in daily routine also. It is also a myth that only IIITians and IIMians get paid with such high packages, even a student from tier 3 college (very small college) can get very easily but the only condition is the candidate should have proper knowledge of coding and should have good problem solving approach.

There are number of coding languages you have to go with at most two coding languages like as per today's demand you should go with Java and Python because these are the most demanding languages in IT sector and along with these languages you should have proper command on Data Structure and Algorithm for those languages.

I hope this information helps you.

Good Luck!!
