Selection of book depends from person to person. But, one thing that every aspirant will agree with, is, practice is the most important thing for JEE. Pick up a book and stick to it until you become thorough with it. The first thing that you should do is arrange the coaching material(if you're not enrolled in a coaching institute) of any reputed institute and complete that. This is a compulsory thing which will be advantageous for your preparation. Apart from that you can follow these books mentioned below,

MATHS:

PHYSICS:

1. HC Verma
2. DC Pandey
3. SL Arora
4. Irodov

CHEMISTRY:

1. P Bahadur for Physical
2. OP Tondon for Inorganic
3. MS Chouhan for Organic

Most important for chemistry- NCERT

In the last months of preparation solve Arihant 40 years PYQ.

Remember, you won't be able to solve too many books so invest your money only on those which you think is the best one for you. Stick to one and practice a lot.
