There are 2 Counsellings that are held for admission to all the Medical Colleges across India. One is All India Counselling and the other is State Counselling. . Under All India Quota, All the 15% of All India Quota Seats except for Jammu and Kashmir, 100% Seats at Deemed and Central Universities, IP Quota seats in ESIC Colleges, Seats at AFMC, AIIMS and JIPMER  are filled by DGHS. AFMC has a separate Counselling process and so you have to apply for AFMC separately through NEET score after the NEET exam. . The 85% State Quota and Private Colleges are filled by the respective State Authorities. And so you need to register separately for State Counsellings. There are Colleges like VMMC, ACMS that conduct their admissions through IPU Counselling and so you have to fill a separate Counselling form for IPU Colleges. CMC Vellore also has its own Registration form though it conducts admissions on the basis of NEET score through Tamilnadu State Counselling. You have to fill this form before NEET exam. But now the registration process for CMC has been closed.
