Yes there is negative marking for wrong answer in JEE Main 2020.

For MCQs - 4 Marks will be awarded for every correct answer and 1 Mark will be deducted for every incorrect answer

For answer with numeric value - 4 Marks will be awarded for every correct answer and 0 Mark will be deducted for every incorrect answer

Hi

Yes there is negative marking in jee mains examination. 1 marks is deducted for choosing wrong option in mcqs

Check the marking scheme for jee mains 2020 provided below :-

For every correct answer, 4 marks will be awarded to you

1 mark will be deducted for each incorrect response for MCQs

But yes there is no negative marking for incorrect response for numerical value questions.
