• If you have resided in Telangana or Andhra Pradesh for a minimum of four years consecutively and have attained their qualifying exam certificate from an institute situated in either of the two states then you are a local candidate and not a non local.
• Regarding the caste reservations, it is applicable to both local and non local candidates. If you fall under any one of the below mentioned categories, you can apply for reservation:

Scheduled Tribe (ST)
Scheduled Caste  (SC)
Other Backward Classes (OBC)
Persons with Disability (PWD)
Female Candidates
Wards of Defence Personnel
Physically Handicapped  (PH)
NCC/Sports Quota
