see eee syllabus has courses from electrical, electronics and some of software engineering. whether ece has vast coverage of electronics and semi conductor devices, architecture, hardware programming, and some of software engineering subjects. if you are more enthusiastic  for government or psu engineering division you may go for eee, but right now in ece domain has more job scope in private sector. however for any of the stream college plays a vital role.
