Hello aspirant!

Thank you for sharing your marks. With 500 marks in NEET 2025 and belonging to the OBC category from Uttar Pradesh, you do stand a fair chance of getting a government medical seat, especially under the state quota.

In Uttar Pradesh, the OBC category cutoff for government medical colleges has usually ranged between 490 to 520 marks, depending on the college and year. So with 500, your chances are moderate to good under the 85 percent state quota in UP. You may be able to get seats in colleges like Government Medical College Ambedkar Nagar, Badaun, or Azamgarh in the later rounds of counselling.

For All India Quota (AIQ) 15 percent seats, the cutoff for OBC tends to be higher, around 510 to 540 marks, so getting a seat through AIQ with 500 marks may be difficult, but you might have a chance in the later rounds.

So overall, while AIQ may be tough, you do have a realistic chance through the UP state quota, especially if you have a good rank within the OBC category.

Feel free to ask any more questions that you might have. All the best!
