If you are pursuing or thinking to pursue with the course, let me tell you it is a good field. Chemical engineering sector is full of opportunities there are some oppertunities listing below:

  • Jobs Private and Public: Chemical engineers are hired by many private companies like HUL, Reliance, BASF etc as design or production engineer. Many public companies like HPCL, BPCL etc hire them for the same reason. Many companies require research scholars with chemical engineering background. Many government bodies like NEERI, NCL, CPCB etc hire them too.
  • Teaching: Chemical engineers are highly paid teachers.
  • Entrepreneur: There is lot of demand for chemical and related products in the market. you can set up your own company.

Scope is vast, Opportunities are unlimited. You just need to acheive it in right way.
