CIT OR AMIRTHA Coimbatore, which is better for B Tech Chemical Engineering ?

First year is same for all. College has well equipped labratories and you will surely get a good insight in this field of study. If you are a GATE aspirant, then you can comfortably join here.
Disadvantage: Very few gets placed in purely core chemical jobs. Most of them get atleast an IT offer. With that backup, you can also try for govt. jobs besides.
I dont know much about CIT. But if academic fees bothers you, then please prefer CIT as the fee at amrita is way too high to my best knowledge.

According to my knowledge, Amritha is a better institute for pursuing Btech in chemical Engg. You can check their official websites about campus and placement stats. Many other websites like Career360.com make a lot of data available for all the colleges. You can have a proper comparison.
