If you got 48 questions correct in the BA entrance exam, your chances of admission depend on a few factors, such as: total number of questions, marking scheme, cut off marks, and the competition level this year. As you've not mentioned in which college you want admission in and in which course, it is not possible for us to surely say that you can get admission. If the exam was out of 100 and you’ve answered 48 correctly, that's a fair score, especially if you're applying to a college with moderate cut-off or if you belong to a reserved category. But in top tier colleges it might be a bit unlikely.
