Hi,

BAMS stands for Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery. There are 273 colleges available in India (220 are private and 50 are government). It offers two branches, Ayurveda and Ayurvedic Medicine and surgery . The one needs to clear NEET UG with minimum of 50 percentile (General candidates), 40 percentile (OBC/SC/ST) and 45 percentile for PWD.

It is mandatory to have PCB (Physics, Chemistry and Biology) as subjects combination in class 12th and biology in class 10th along with English subject .

For government colleges, the cut-off remains below 100, I suggest you to target for rank 50 to have better chances of getting government college.

You can visit Careers360 blog on Top BAMS college , to get more clarified details about BAMS and your target college at: https://medicine.careers360.com/colleges/list-of-bams-colleges-in-india

I hope it helps.

Thank you!
