The cut-off is usually not announced before the exams. You can only approximate the cut-off from past exams.

BAMS is the oldest traditional and ancient medical course that students from various corners of the country want to pursue. It is a 5 years and 6 month course. It is categorised in to three theoretical and one practical section. The academic session will take 4.5 years to complete and one year students have to go for an internship programme where they will be taught with live practical.

Eligibility for BAMS

There are basic eligibility criteria set for the candidates who want to pursue the BAMS course. Candidates should have a minimum percentage in their 12th standard with physics, chemistry and biology.



Candidates will be selected for the BAMS course on the basis of marks secured in the entrance examination.

There will be certain national and state level examination for the selection. Find below the entrance examination.

According to last years data in Government colleges, for those offering BAMS course, the cut off is: 155 Marks

National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET) is a new qualifying cum entrance examination by the Medical Council of India for admission in undergraduate medical course (MBBS), dental course (BDS) or postgraduate course (MD / MS) in government or private medical colleges in India.

NEET Cutoff will be declared by the CBSE. Cutoff is the minimum score required by a student to qualify for admissions. The admissions to the various colleges depend upon the seats available, difficulty levels of the exam and more important the number of applicants.
