Government Medical College and General Hospital, Baramati w as established in year MAY-2019 for the course of MBBS . It is recognised by Board of Governors in Supersession of Medical Council of India, New Delhi and G overnment of Maharashtra. And, it is a ffiliated to Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Dindori Road, Mhasrul, Nashik.

The current intake capacity is 100 seats for MBBS. The mode of admission takes place as 15% All India Quota & 85% State Quota. There is facility of separate hostels for both boys and girls.
