The candidates belonging to OBC/ST/SC category enjoy benefits that are not given to those of general category. First of all, there are certain seats reserved for you. Other than this, your cut-off will be lower than that of general category. This means that you will be able to qualify with marks much lower than that of general category. Also, colleges provide other benefits such as scholarships to OBC category students.
