the choice is compelately yours and it depends on your interest entirely . 

However , the placement in CSE branch is superb , you may go for CSE branch if it interest you . 

There are other branches as well For BTech . So choose wisely .

This is a major mistake we all do while taking admission in any of the college that we the branch which is good at the respective institute. This is a subject of your own interest. You might be confused about this or may be in dilemma for two streams but you need to overcome this as it is the point where you'll lead your career to one direction. if you are confident in subjects like computer or coding then CS is for you but if your keen interest is to work out with machines or wanna go for the communication one then Mechanical and EC branch is there for you. 

Well now considering GLA University it is quite good but in terms of placement it provides you better placement in CS branch. So don't be confused and try to find out your own interest.
