Bachelor of Dental Surgery is almost equivalent to MBBS and after successful completion of the course, you'll be an Doctor. During the course, the students have to do compulsory internship in the final year which helps them to become more professional. Most of the students, after completing their course, join Hospitals or Nursing Homes as Doctors. Or else you can open up your own dental clinic and do private practice. There are lot of job opportunities in Dental. Once you complete your course you'll be opened up with many opportunities. You can also go for higher studies. MDS is the advanced degree which is opted by most of the BDS students. It allows the candidate to specialize in the domain. You can also join as professor in the hospitals and nursing homes.
