Hello dear aspirant,

If  we talk about entrance exams for engineering in India then it's for three type of colleges.
First is for union government funded institutes,
Second is for the state government funded institutes and third is that for the private colleges.
Out of these jee main and jee advanced which is the entrance examination for iit ,nit ,iiit and gfti are considered best as all the colleges that take admission under these criteria.
are of national importance.
However exams like wbjee, bitsat, mhtcet are also of great importance.

Hi Aspirant,

For engineering, the best colleges in India are definitely the IITs. For admissions to them, you need to clear JEE-Mains and then get a rank of more than 2000 in JEE-Advanced. With JEE-Mains, you will get admissions in NITs, IIITs and GFITs. Other top institutions carry out their own entrance examinations like BITSAT, MET, VITEEE etc.
