There are many good colleges other than IIT and NIT in Jharkhand. A few of them are:

• BIT SINDRI
• Central University Of Jharkhand, Ranchi
• National Institute of Foundry and Forge technology, Ranchi
• Dumka Engineering College, Dumka
• Vinoba Bhave University, Hazaribag.
