The Uttar Pradesh Government offers Various Scholarships for merit based students belonging  to SC, ST, OBC, and General Categories. The UP Scholarship Scheme have launched a portal ' SAKSHAM ' where Pre matric and Post Matric Scholarships are offered. The eligibility criteria for UP Scholarship Scheme is .

• Indian Citizen and Domicile of Uttar Pradesh.
• 9th and 10th Passed from recognised board of UP.
• Should have secured minimum 60% marks in previous year examination.

The Scholarships are offered for those whose family income is less than 2 lakhs per year. There is no Examination for applying this Scholarship Scheme. You have to provide income certificate during the application process. The documents required for scholarship application are ..
