By comparing these two colleges the conclusion is as follows
Punjab engineering college was well established even before Manipal university and it is run under government where as MPU is a deemed university having it's own entrance test.
Teacher to student ratio is less in Punjab engineering college where as in MPU it is high.There are good number of faculty in MPU. There are limited courses in Punjab engineering college where as in Manipal university there are wide range of courses offered.Fee is high in MPU compared to Punjab engineering college.
