Honestly, no books can help you out more than your intermediate. Be full focused and attentive in your intermediate studies (10+1 &10+2). For the assessment of your knowledge and understanding you can go through past year papers. Nothing will be best and better than this.

You have not mentioned the course so it is quite difficult to sugest any book, in case you still want.  lucent publication for computer course (because the whole syllabus of computer was not in my intermediate subjects). It was good. Thus, you can prefer lucent publication. If possible avoid MCQ question books, prefer a book with a brief detailing over a topic, it will help you to understand everything about that particular topic so you can answer anything about that.
