Hello,

NEET UG counselling is not used for BPT admissions in the majority of Indian states.

For MBBS, BDS, AYUSH, BVSc, and certain related medical programs, NEET is mostly utilized. NEET scores may be taken into account for BPT at certain private or deemed colleges; however, this is not always the case.

Key Points:

State wise counselling: Rather than using NEET UG, the majority of states offer independent counselling for BPT courses via the paramedical admission portals.

Merit- Based Admissions: Rather than NEET scores, BPT admissions in many states are determined by 12th grades (PCB stream).

Through other entrance exams: There are also other entrance exam conducted by some colleges which leads you to BPT.

WHAT SHOULD YOU DO?

  • Check the BPT counselling notification on the health/paramedical admissions portal for your state.
  • When registration opens, submit a separate application for BPT.
