It completely depends on the board under which your college is affilated. If your college is autonomous then they will have their own pattern.

It has the syllabus and passing marks  for a value of full marks. You can calculate the passing marks if you have different maximum marks considering it as a reference and know how much percentage is take as minimum mark.

This is just for reference but for accurate answer you can contact to the concerned faculty and ask him/her about the paper part and for how much marks will it come and all other whereabouts. they can guide you better in the matter of semester exam and they can give you accurate answers which will be more precise and help you out.
