BSc and BTech in biotechnology are the very separate and very different Idea driven courses.

BSc biotechnology it is a non technical and a theoretical and practical course where you get to learn about the practical and theoretical accepts of biotechnology this is more appropriate and advantages to those who want to pursue a career in teaching and planning to do an MSc after BSc and go for professors and faculty post.

B tech biotechnology is a more technical and technological developed and derived course B tech biotechnology is engineering course,it integrates the theoretical and practical side with the technology part,after doing BTech you can easily get admission in a PhD course while after BSc you have to complete MSc to go for a PhD.

I would suggest you that B tech biotechnology is a far better than BSc in every aspect if you have the option to do any one of them then you should aim for a BTech degree in biotechnology in a good college.

B.Sc. in Biotechnology is a 3- year undergraduate course, involving an advanced study of the cellular and bimolecular processes for development of a variety of technologies and products that contribute to improving people's lives and health.

Where as BTech Biotechnology is a 4 year course , which is an undergraduate field of applied biology that involves the use of living organisms and bioprocesses in engineering, technology, medicine and other fields requiring bio -products.
