Hello Aspirant,

Yes you can take BSC ECONOMICS without maths in most of the colleges if not restricted. but some colleges do demand for maths. So it will depend from college to college which you want to go for. Most of the  colleges do not have such restriction.

But if want to do honors in economics from a reputed university, maths is compulsory there. You cant do honors in economics without maths.
