In a BSC nursing course or program , practical and theory marks are generally recorded separate so you need to pass both practical and theory subjects individually. You need at least 50 percent in each theory and practical paper to pass the course.

Failing to either theory or practical component of a course you usually need to retake both the theory and practical examinations for that course to meet the program requirements

For B.Sc. Nursing , theory marks and practical marks are usually added together to make the final result. But in some subjects, you also need to pass both theory and practical separately. It depends on the university rules.
