Hey there hope you're doing well.
Dear aspirant, both branches are good in their respective fields.  Mechatronics is a combination of mechanical and electronics it is a good branch indeed but in comparison to CSE it's scope is quite limited. Also CSE is a highly demanding branch these days so in my opinion CSE should be preferred more now it's rest on you.
