In general, it's less common for commerce students to directly pursue M.Tech. M.Tech programs typically require a background in engineering or related fields. Commerce students usually pursue M.Com, MBA, or other business-related postgraduate courses.


If a commerce student is interested in a technical field, they might consider doing a master's in a related business or management field that connects with technology, such as Management Information Systems (MIS) or Technology Management. However, direct admission to traditional M.Tech programs may be challenging without a relevant engineering or science background.
