Hello aspirant,

Yes, students in the commerce stream have the opportunity to work in marine engineering, although doing so usually requires them to fulfil certain academic prerequisites. Ship and other seagoing vessel design, construction, operation, and maintenance are all part of the specialised subject of marine engineering. Typically, one must finish a bachelor's degree programme in marine engineering or a closely related discipline, such naval architecture or marine technology, in order to work as a marine engineer. A solid background in mathematics, physics, and engineering principles is usually required for these programmes.
