Mechatronics is different brnach and is relatively core.



Its a mix of Mechanics and Robotics studies.



Whereas Computer science is more into Software development and hardware integration.



Hence bith are extreme ends of rope with no connection whatsoever.



If you are opting for Mtech or ME in Mechtronics engineering you can surely go for it, only if you are genuinely interested else it makes no sense.
