Many people think that only jee mains qualified candidates can participate in josaa counseling, which is not correct statement.

In jossa counseling, anyone who has given Jee mains can participate in josaa counselling.
Now as you have secured only 85 percentile in JEE mains exam from your general category, so you have not qualified your jee mains exam. But still you can participate in josaa counselling though you will not get any seat in any nits or iiits or gftis, etc.
