Can a grandchild of army person get the benefit of army quota?

I want to tell you that the reservation quota for the ex serviceman is up to on his children only.

You can be benefited the reservation if you are the child of the Ex serviceman.

There is no reservation provided to the Grandchild of the ex serviceman.

But my friend who had pursued engineering whose grandfather was an EX-SERVICEMEN GOT BENEFIT IN ENGINEERING ADMISSION
