Yes , MSC 1st Year students are eligible to apply for CSIR NET. The students vare required to appear under results awaited category. They need to submit a document signed by the HOD or head of their institution stating that you are the student of that institution and you are registered with them

You will be only allowed your certification of CSIR NET if you will clear your Master's and provide them proper document s in the end.
