Can a M.Sc. degree holder from correspondence course apply for the NET Exam?

Hello Aakash,

Yes, a candidate who has MA degree from distance education is applicable to apply for UGC NET exam.

Aspirant needs to follow all basic requirements of the exam. Candidates should have minimum 55% aggregate marks (for General) or 50% aggregate marks (for OBC/SC/ST/PwD) in post-graduation.

If candidates want to apply for JRF then their age must not more than 30 years.

For Assistant Professor, no age criteria is applicable.

As per the latest news, NTA has started the UGC NET 2018 Application Form process from 1st September 2018 and candidates can apply till 30th September 2018.

 

So, if you want to apply and eligible according to the NET exam guidelines then hurry up and fill the form.
