,It's right that candidates who have equal to or more than 40% visual disability are not elligible in NEET UG exam. ... If this student goes for a check up and the certificate comes as not qualified under Disabilities act, no college can hire him/her because it goes against the rules.
In a significant order, the Supreme Court has allowed a person suffering from 'low vision', a disability in which the eyesight cannot be corrected or improved, to pursue the MBBS course and treat patients.
