Dear Priyalini, first off, Physiotherapy is a Para Medical Course which deals with post clinical treatment of the patients to get back to normalcy after neurological, orthopedic, cardiac, geriatric conditions. A Physiotherapist's role is confied to post operative treatment and prognosis. One cannot prescribe pain killers with a degree of Physiotherapy. That falls under Quackery.
