Can a private college student appear GATE after b.tech...even if he didn't appear JEE? And study M.tech in an IIT or NIT

Hey,

Every engineering student whether he is studying in private or govt college can appear for gate from their final year onwards.

It doesn't matter you have appeared for JEE or not.

You can definitely apply for GATE and pursue your MTECH in IIT or NIT.
