Can a student who has passed class XII in second division apply B. Tech?

Hello Rabinchandra,

Most of the B. Tech colleges don't have a high requirement for class 12 percentage. Second division means that your percentage is between 60% and 75% so you can get into most of the colleges except IITs and NITs. The requirement for JEE - Advanced is a minimum of 75%. You can apply for most of the colleges with the percentage in second division.

Yes you can apply for B.Tech. provided that you fulfil the eligibility criteria for that particukar college or university. With your marks if you are from general category then it will be difficult for you to give JEE examination although you can still apply for a large number of state universities and private colleges where you are eligible. Hope this helps.
