Yes you can definitely prepare for KAS exams while studying engineering.You can join a kas coaching institution which will help you to understand the syllabus pattern of the exam. Start reading some good english newspaper for gaining general knowledge.And buy some good books for solving the questions.
And also be good in your college studies also, it will be indirectly helping you to the kas exams.
