There are a few government companies that do come to IIMs once in a while. So yes you can get placement in those PSUs, but frankly speaking these companies only visit when private companies do not hire as much as they do normally.

Some of the placement people then target government companies, but there are a very few who aspire to join a governmental organization, or else they would have prepared for civil services instead of CAT.
