Can any GATE aspirant guide me that these topics 1.Digital Integrated Circuit 2. Asynchronous Sequential Logic 3. Design at The RTL 4. Memory and Programmable Logic are important or necessary to learn from GATE cse point of view I'm quit confused

hi,

see as per previous years analysis there were around 3-4 questions are from digital logic., digital logic syllabus for  cs and IT is as follows:

Digital Logic

Boolean algebra. Combinational and sequential circuits. Minimization. Number

representations and computer arithmetic (fixed and floating point).


questions mainly from multiplexer, memory, decoder. so  if you have not very much preparation of digital logic, it would be best not to learn very much new topics now. however the most important subjects  for cs and IT is as follows:

operating system,

programming and data structures

data base management

compiler design.
