Of course you can join IIT for doing M. Tech. To do so you must apply and prepare for gate. This is an entry test administered by old IITs and IISc. Nearly every college in India accepts this score for the MTech programme. The course of studies and cut-offs of various IITs and IISc can be Googled. You have to clear the GATE in the branch you want if you want to join some IIT to follow your M.Tech.
