In most of the college and university the admission is based on entrance exam for undergraduate courses. First of all the application form will be out for admission, then you will have to fill the application form, then you will be asked to appear in the entrance exam.If you will qualify the entrance exam you will be shortlisted for counselling. In counselling candidates can choose the branch or subject which they want to pursue. If one doesn't get desired branch ir subject in 1st counseling then he can wait for next counseling. Counseling is based on marks and rank. Once you get your preferred college/branch/subject based on your marks and ranks you can lock the seat and confirm the admission after paying some initial admission fees.
Slot booking - Slot booking is the process to select date and time for the online exam based on your preference of exam center at one or more locations.
